What is Fit Tip Exchange, and How Does it Work?


Fit Tip Exchange is a new type of health and fitness blog.  The “meat” of this blog will come not from its author, but from its readers… 

I have been teaching fitness classes for 3 years now, and I have been “healthy” for 4.  After only 4 years, I have experienced HLB (Healthy Lifestyle Burnout) on more than one occasion, and I am sure other people have as well.  In my experience, the best way to overcome HLB is to change up your routine and incorporate new and interesting healthy changes in your life. 

The purpose of Fit Tip Exchange is to be a forum for you, the reader, to have an outlet to share and receive fitness tips in an attempt to avoid the dreaded HLB.  Whether you have been “healthy” for years or you are just starting your journey, I’m positive that you have tips that get you through and keep you going.  And why would you want to keep those tips all to yourself?

So here is how it works:

Email me your Fit Tips.  I will post them on the blog for others to read and learn from.  Be sure to include in the email:

  • Your name as you want it to appear on the blog
  • Your Fit Tip
  • Why and How your tip works for you

Fit Tips can range from workout play lists to healthy snacks to motivational techniques to exciting new workout routines.  They can be anything as long as they are positive and help you maintain your healthy lifestyle.
